from laughing SO HARD.
Thanks Lorelei.
That baby's voice reminds me of another video that had me rolling (LOTR funny voices).
Stopped by Trader Joe's yesterday morning to do a little grocery shopping and wound up buying myself some flowers. Seriously, how could I pass up a bunch of sea spray roses for $3.99. And the orchid, $12.99!!! <-- yeah, I'm that excited. I'd been eyeballing the selection at Joe's for a while...ever since the store opened over a year ago, actually. But none of them spoke to me like this one.
The ride home was glorious!
love:
- orange flow-y skirt with pink, green, yellow, reddish-orange and white polka dots
- cassia seeds tea
- TH!NK Ox concept car, specifically the 2 door version, in red
- Shaq's freestyle
hate:
- Shaq's freestyle
- headaches from reduced caffeine intake
- flying ants IN the apartment
- loud, bubbling sounds coming from my dog's stomach--whatever's in there wants out
It's Monday night, and I'm still dwelling on the fact that I paid $54.75 for 12.563 gallons of gas over the weekend. I feel like I shouldn't complain since I only fill-up 2 or 3 times a month but I can't help it--I'm paying for high-octane gas. Well, only because I'm following the manufacturer's recommendations, but lately I've been wondering if I could get away with using something less than 91. I'd hate to make the switch and blow up the engine or have some other terrible thing happen while I'm driving my little car. I plan on calling a few service departments to see what they have to say.
I've been back a little over a week from my road trip and I'm ready for another vacation where no driving is involved, on my part.
Wished I could have seen Adele in the live while I was in the NYC area last week. I played the hell out of her album while I was on the road, and I still love it.
Took my friend to the airport yesterday and I was sad to see her go...I wanted to be in Seattle, too.
Watched The Happening last night. When the credits started rolling and people stood up to leave, I had the urge to walk out backwards, slowly mumble the words what.the.f*ck. and then proceed to hit my head against a wall. *shakes head* I had mixed feelings about the movie but I thought it was better than The Village, or maybe not.
Now I'm off to fill out my passport application and run a few errands. I am so not looking forward to having my picture taken--the face has been looking a bit rough lately. *sigh*
I still have a lot of catching up to do but I hope all is well in the 'hood.
I'm still here.
My feet have finally stopped aching from walking in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life on Friday.
Cleared off some space on the TiVo after watching a few of my favorite shows: Gourmet's Diary of a Foodie, Naruto, Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural and Smallville.
Watched Redbelt at the theater this morning and now I want to see more Chiwetel Ejiofor. He is such a fine, FINE actor.
Had lunch with my brother at a local Chinese restaurant and stopped for frozen yogurt at TCBY afterwards.
May have committed planticide. I forgot to bring in my desert rose a couple of months ago during a freeze warning. Thought it was doing well since there are leaves sprouting on some branches. Well, I felt the root and it collapsed. That can't be good. *sigh*
Cheesed from ear to ear after I checked my mail. I got the cutest, sweetest letter from grrrace, and I wanted to eat my mail. :)
Updated my Things To Do Before I Stop Laughing list. I'm going to a NIN concert with a friend in August.
I think I'll go cloud gazing now...
